More about our latte cups
Providing a real contribution to every home barista, that’s what we find important. That’s why we have designed these latte cups specially for home baristas who love fulsome lattes and cappuccinos. We took everything into account so that you can make and drink the most delicious cappuccino at home!
Handmade and unique
All cups are made by hand in Vietnam. This is a collaboration with a small producer which is recognized by the EU as a support program for the local economy. The cups are fired at 1,250 degrees Celsius. This makes them dishwasher-safe and extra strong. The combination of the handmade production and changing temperatures in the ovens makes every cup unique.
The perfect size
With a capacity of 250 ml, this cup has the perfect size for a caffè latte or large cappuccino. The height of 65 mm and diameter of 88 mm gives you a big canvas which is perfect for latte art. Moreover, the latte cups are stackable because they have no handles. Because of this, you can store them easily.
Keep your latte warm
The use of ceramic for our cups is fully intentional. Its naturally isolating effect warms up and stores the warmth perfectly. For the design, we have chosen thinner walls for a quick way to warm up the cups on top of any espresso machine.
Protects your crema layer
We want to keep the attention on the coffee. That’s why our design is simple. In the design of our latte cups, we have taken the protection of the crema layer of the coffee into account. That’s why we added a round curve to the inside of the cup. With this, the crema layer is maintained optimally for taste and latte art.
*Tip: Do you have a nice cup at home and want to know how much ml it can hold? Take a kitchen scale, fill the cup with water, and then the gram indication also indicates how much ml your cup can hold!
Maintenance instructions
On the outside, the original texture of the clay is maintained, however, it has a natural protection layer because the cups are fired at 1,250°C. Follow the instructions below, so that the products remain nice for years:
- Briefly rinse them after use;
- When hand-washing: use a clean sponge/dishwasher brush for cleaning;
- In the dishwasher: don’t wait too long before starting the program.
If the instructions above are followed, the natural outer layer of the cups will remain in a perfect state.
