What are latte cups?
Latte cups are the largest barista cups we sell. They hold 250 ml and are designed for a beautiful caffè latte or a double cappuccino.
About our latte cups
Our latte cups are carefully designed so you can enjoy a delicious caffè latte at home. While designing them, we focused on:
Material: Our barista latte cups are made of porcelain. We chose this material because it’s durable, heats up quickly, and keeps your drink warm.
Shape: The inside of the cup is smoothly rounded, with no sharp edges. This keeps your espresso crema intact and helps you pour your latte art more easily.
Height: A good barista cup fits neatly between your coffee scale and portafilter, and can be removed again without trouble. Our latte cups are designed with a 65 mm height for exactly that reason.
Capacity: The size of the cup determines how much milk goes in, which also affects how your coffee tastes. Our latte cups are designed to hold 250 ml.
They’re also easy to stack and dishwasher-safe.
Difference between cappuccino and latte cups
Alongside latte cups, we also offer handmade cappuccino cups and espresso cups.
Espresso cups hold 60 ml for an espresso or cortado, you won’t confuse those with any other barista cup size.
Cappuccino and latte cups look much more alike. The key difference is their capacity:
- Cappuccino cup: 180 ml
- Latte cup: 250 ml
A cappuccino cup is typically used for an americano, cappuccino, double espresso, or flat white. If you love a milkier drink, like a caffè latte or a double cappuccino (a cappuccino with a double shot), go for the latte cups.

The best latte cups
If you’re looking for the best latte cups, there are a few features to pay attention to. These things make the difference between good latte cups and great latte cups:
Material: Porcelain and glass heat up faster than stoneware or ceramic, keeping your coffee warmer for longer.
Design: A barista cup designed for latte art helps you perfect your tulip or heart.
Size: A cup that fits under your machine and on your scale is simply much easier to use than a taller alternative.
What else can you drink from a latte cup?
Besides a caffè latte, these cups are great for a large cappuccino with a double shot. And if you want to drink tea from them, we won’t tell anyone.
