Product description

This coffee makes an impression. Bold, intense, and full of character. When we first tasted it, we had rarely encountered such an earthy, herbal profile.

The secret lies not only in its origin, but also in the traditional processing method.

Unique and powerful. Excellent as a straight espresso, and just as enjoyable in a cappuccino.

Enjoy this coffee from our Pine Green cup. The green tones highlight the complexity of these beans.

Brewing recommendation – Sulawesi

Our starting point: 18.5 g of ground coffee, a brew time of 25 seconds, yielding 36–37 g of espresso. From here, adjust to taste.

This is how we brew our Sulawesi beans:

  • 18.5 g coffee in
  • 25–30 seconds extraction time
  • 41 g espresso out

Origin & details

All of our coffees are officially Specialty Coffee, including these Sulawesi beans. The Specialty Coffee Association awards this label only to coffees that score 80 points or higher for quality and flavor.

After harvest, the beans are dried and the silvery skin is removed. They are then further dried on patios. This traditional process gives the beans their distinctive herbal character and almost blue-green appearance.
