A dosing funnel without frustration

While grinding, coffee can easily end up outside your filter basket. A shame — and exactly why a dosing funnel is so useful.

But not all dosing funnels are created equal. That’s something I (Hugo) discovered while looking for one that fits properly on my filter basket and sits neatly under my grinder.

Some funnels clamp inside the basket, leaving an annoying donut-shaped imprint in the ground coffee.

Others sit on top, but don’t follow the curve of the basket rim. That leaves coffee stuck between the basket and the funnel.

We knew this could be done better. So at Barista-Essentials, we decided to develop our own dosing funnel.

Our goal was simple: a funnel that fits perfectly on your filter basket, stays securely in place, and is lightweight.

This dosing funnel is available in four different sizes, so there’s always one that fits your machine, for example:

51 mm: DeLonghi Dedica, DeLonghi La Specialista, Gastroback, Solis Grind & Infuse Compact

53.3 mm: Solis Grind & Infuse Perfetta 1019, Perfetta Plus 1170, Perfect Pro, Priaroma, Sage Bambino (Plus), Duo-Temp Pro

58 mm: Quick Mill

58.5 mm (E61): Rocket, ECM, Vibiemme, Gaggia, Ascaso, Bezzera, Bellezza, La Marzocco, Rancilio
