Brewing a great espresso is impossible without fresh beans. That’s why investing in a vacuum coffee storage canister is absolutely worth it.

You can weigh, distribute, and tamp your coffee as precisely as you want, but if your beans aren’t fresh, you’ll taste it.

I (Hugo) learned that the hard way, back when I stored my beans in their original bag or a regular coffee tin.

Our vacuum coffee canisters keep your beans airtight. They’re made of glass or stainless steel and come with two types of lids. Below, you can see which features belong to which lid:

For each canister, you can choose between glass or stainless steel. Glass lets you see your beans, while stainless steel blocks light.

That means if you go for glass, make sure to store your canister in a dark place.

A little gift for your coffee beans

A few important notes when using your vacuum canister:

• Only store whole coffee beans, not ground coffee. Ground coffee can get into the vacuum pump and cause damage.
• Charge your lid with a 5V = 1A power adapter. Most phone chargers (like Lightning adapters) are too powerful, which might make it seem like the lid isn’t charging.
