When you buy a new espresso machine, you also receive a bunch of portafilter baksets. from single baskets to dual wall versions. But which one should you use to brew the best coffee?

This portafilter basket is the answer. It lets you pull a solid double espresso with a 1:2 ratio of ground coffee to espresso (18 grams in, 36 grams out).

The holes at the bottom of the basket ensure water flows evenly through your puck, unlike a dual wall basket with just one tiny perforation.

Ever since I switched to this portafilter basket, I’ve never looked back. Those old baskets are now gathering dust. Serves them right. 😤

The portafilter basket for your machine

Our portafilter baskets are available in three sizes, so they fit most machines:

51mm: De'Longhi Dedica, Solis Grind & Infuse Compact, De'Longhi La Specialista, and De'Longhi Icona Vintage.

Note: If you want to use this filter basket in the original DeLonghi (Dedica) portafilter, you’ll need to remove the plastic insert out of the portafilter head first. (You don’t need it anyway, it just collects dirt 😉).

54mm: Sage Barista Express, Sage Barista Impress, Sage Barista Touch, Solis Grind & Infuse Pro, Solis Barista Pro, and Solis Perfetta Plus.

58mm: All E61 machines with a 58mm portafilter. Including brands like CM, Rocket, Vibiemme, Pavoni, Isomac, Cimbali, Fiorenzato, La Marzocco, and Kees van der Westen.
