Why descaling matters
Espresso is 98% water – so it’s no surprise that hard water can ruin the taste of your coffee.
Limescale in your water doesn’t just affect flavor. Over time, it can also damage your machine, causing it to heat up more slowly or even stop working altogether.
To keep your machine limescale-free, flush it with a descaling solution every 3 to 4 months. In between, protect it with a water filter like this one.
