Returns and Exchange

We do our best to make our fellow home baristas happy with our products and service.

However, in addition to being home baristas, we are also people, and sometimes mistakes happen. But don’t worry!
We are here to help you with any issue you might have.

1. Register

Register the items you want to return in our portal within 30 days after you have received your order and choose the desired return method

2. Package

Pack your items. Don't forget to remove or cover the old shipping label.

3. Ship

Bring your package to a post office within 3 working days after registering.

4. Complete

As soon as our distribution center has received your return, your return will be processed within 14 working days.

Returns and exchanges must be returned in the same condition as they were received, without physical signs of wear or use, and should be returned in the original packaging. Please also read our return conditions below.

Return Costs

We want to give every home barista a chance to return or exchange a product.
That is why we cover €5,65 of every return! This means some returns are free and all other countries are discounted the €5,65.

Since the UK left the EU we are not able to create shipping labels through our portal. 
In this case, you can organize your return with a carrier of your choice after registering your return in our portal.

Return Conditions

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving a reason.

The cancellation period is 30 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you who is not the carrier took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform Barista-Essentials, Hooghiemstraplein 132, 3514AZ, Utrecht, The Netherlands, phone: +31 30 369 07 38, email: info@barista-essentials.com by means of a clear statement (e.g. by E -Mail or via our return portal) about your decision to revoke this contract. You can use a model withdrawal form for this, but this is not mandatory. We prefer to use the return portal.

To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must repay you all payments we have received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged for this repayment. We may refuse to make a repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return the goods to our fulfillment center (Barista-Essentials, Prinsenweide 2G, 7317 BB, Apeldoorn, The Netherlands) immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract . The deadline is met if you send off the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods, unless otherwise agreed with Barista-Essentials. You will only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking the condition, properties and functioning of the goods.

The right of withdrawal does not exist if:

  • The contract is for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
  • The contract is for the delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose use-by date would soon be exceeded.
  • The contract is for the delivery of sealed goods which, for health or hygiene reasons, are unsuitable for return if their seal has been removed after delivery.

For these legal reasons, we cannot take back goods with already opened or damaged packaging and goods whose use-by date is about to expire.
