Designed for the home barista
We specifically designed the dosing ring with the home barista in mind. Due to the curvature in the dosing ring, it has a nice grip to easily be placed onto your portafilter and, of course, taken off again.
Home baristas use different machines, so we offer various sizes that we have specifically designed for, and tested on, the portafilter for your espresso machine. This way we can guarantee the perfect fit. The dosing ring sits securely on top of the portafilter and not inside it, which prevents ‘donut formation’. With the built-in magnets, the dosing ring snaps firmly in place and leaves no space for any coffee to get between the ring and the portafilter when using a WDT tool.
Built to last
We chose to craft the dosing ring out of aluminum, which makes it lightweight but also incredibly solid. So, the ring will last you a very long time! Its light weight enables that satisfying ‘snap’ of the magnets, which just feels good every time you use it. When you’re ready to tamp, the dosing ring is, of course, easy to lift off the portafilter.
Which size dosing ring do you need?
We offer the 51mm dosing ring, which is compatible with all 51mm portafilters – think of: DeLonghi Dedica, DeLonghi La Specialista but also certain Gastroback machines as well as the Solis Grind & Infuse Compact.
For the 54mm portafilters from Sage, Solis, Gastroback and Breville, we offer our special dosing ring designed for being used with the built-in coffee grinder. Perfect for machines like the Sage Barista Express, Barista Pro or Barista Touch.
We also carry a 58.5mm dosing ring, suitable for all E61 espresso machines, including brands like: Rocket, ECM, Vibiemme, Gaggia, Ascaso, Bezzera, Bellezza, La Marzocco and Rancilio.
