What do I use each tool for?
- Bottomless portafilter: with a naked portafilter, you can see directly how the espresso flows from the filter holder. Ideal for spotting extraction issues and improving the taste of your espresso, but also perfect for creating Instagram-worthy videos 😉
- WDT-tool: thanks to this tool with fine needles, lumps in ground coffee disappear in no time! It also helps to distribute the coffee evenly in the filter holder. This improves extraction and flavor!
- Puck screen: a puck screen is placed on top of the ground coffee in the portafilter. This ensures that your water is distributed more evenly and reduces the chance of channeling. A nice bonus: your brew group stays much cleaner as well.
