As a home barista, we know the scenario all too well. You’ve just bought an espresso machine, and after every espresso, it’s a constant back and forth to the trash can, leaving coffee grounds everywhere.
Tired of the endless trips, I (Hugo) decided it was time for a solution. A knock box was an option, but it took up too much space next to my grinder.
That’s how our compact knock drawer was born! The ideal spot to knock out coffee pucks while giving you a place to set your grinder.

At Barista Essentials, we only offer products that we know will make your life as a home barista easier.
Our knock drawer has the following features:
- Compact (28x18x6cm). Fits in any kitchen or coffee setup.
- Sturdy. Supports all grinders (e.g. Sage the Smart Grinder Pro, Eureka Mignon, Niche).
- Ventilated. Ventilation holes prevent mold buildup.
- Noise dampening. The rubber bar softens the noise of knocking. Also available separately.

Our compact stainless steel knock drawer is easy to use and maintain. All parts are dishwasher-safe.
With a coffee brush, you can easily sweep any grounds that land beside your portafilter into the drawer. (Not essential, but stylish!) Check out our coffee brush here.
