How does a coffee tamping station help you make better coffee?
It’s super frustrating when you’re trying to make consistently great coffee, but your extraction keeps changing. As a home barista, I had no idea that uneven tamping could be the cause. If your portafilter is moving around, there’s no way you can tamp straight. This means the water flows through your coffee differently every time. With a tamping station, you get a solid base to tamp evenly, leading to better and more consistent extraction.

Check if your portafilter fits
Unfortunately, there are so many different portafilters on the market that not all of them fit this tamping station.
Using one of our portafilters? Our tamping station works with every size of our portafilters!
When it doesn’t fit? If you’re using an original portafilter from Delonghi or Sage, there might not be enough room. As you can see in the picture, there needs to be enough space between the spouts and the bottom of the portafilter. Not sure? Shoot us a message!
