When I (Jasper) upgraded my espresso machine to a Sage Barista Express, I was quite disappointed with the included tamper.
The plastic tamper made it difficult to apply pressure without tamping unevenly. Unfortunately, that often resulted in sour, inconsistent coffee. On top of that, it didn’t even fit the portafilter properly!
That’s how our development process started, leading to the tool you’re looking at now. Precisely tailored for 54mm portafilters and designed for a perfect tamp, time after time!
